Like You, 2014

Like You was a street performance commissioned for Le Mouvement in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, that took place August 26-30, 2014, for six hours each day. Laser enlisted dancer Cori Kresge to develop a method of mimicking the gestures and comportment of unsuspecting individuals on the streets of Biel/Bienne. Alternating between immediate immitations of passersby and recapitualtions of the gestures collected, Laser uses the dancer’s body to record and replay the movement of the city.
